The Brickyard, located just 10 miles northeast of Washington, D.C.,
incorporates 125-master planned acres of Urban Industrial and residential space on land that was originally home to the Washington Brick Company manufacturing company and mine.
The Brick Yard Urban Industrial is 70-acres planned for more than 700,000 square feet of multi-purpose industrial buildings and built to Green Building Development Standards, all buildings met LEED Silver Certified. It is estimated that the Business Park will employ more than 2,000 workers upon completion.
The 50 acres located on the southern end of the 125-acre master plan development, Brick Yard Station, is the residential component of the overall Brick Yard development.
Recognizing the value of preserving the history and significance of the fossil deposits found on a portion of The Brickyard development and conscious of this unique opportunity to practice stewardship, continuing relationships and historical preservation, Jackson-Shaw donated land and resources to complete a large park dedicated to dinosaur discovery in Prince George’s County.
