JACKSON-SHAW PROUDLY ANNOUNCES OPENING OF DUAL-BRANDED LAS VEGAS SYMPHONY PARK HOTEL

Five-story, 441-room development offers a sophisticated, non-smoking, non-gaming experience near the heart of downtown Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (September 2, 2025) – Jackson-Shaw, a national real estate developer based in North Texas, today announced the official opening of its dual-branded AC Hotel by Marriott® Symphony Park and Element® by Westin Symphony Park in Las Vegas. Marking a milestone for the hospitality brand, this is Marriott’s largest dual-branded AC and Element development, bringing together two distinct experiences under one roof near the heart of downtown Las Vegas.

“This AC Hotel by Marriott and Element by Westin hit a high note in Symphony Park. The development blends modern design with meaningful simplicity in a calm, non-gaming, non-smoking environment,” said Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley. “Located near downtown and the Arts District, this development is a much welcome and refined retreat in the city’s cultural core.”

The two hotels, seamlessly connected under one roof, are located at 330 South Grand Central Parkway at Symphony Park Avenue, between the World Market Center and The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. Sharing a single address, this five-story development provides 441 thoughtfully designed guest rooms.

“This highly anticipated development, which broke ground in January 2024, has been years in the making,” said Jackson-Shaw Senior Vice President of Hotel Development Joe Blewitt. “There’s already considerable momentum and interest, and we’re excited to launch with such a strong leadership team – General Manager Mark Kirsch, Sales Director Malia Johnson and Executive Chef Chris Kight.”

The AC Hotel by Marriott features 322 rooms, each designed with a sleek, minimalist style that combines sophisticated European aesthetics with modern comfort. The Element by Westin offers 119 spacious accommodations, perfect for extended stays, which blend functionality with stylish, wellness-inspired amenities. The property has over 18,000 square feet of versatile ballroom and meeting space, complemented by dining options, seven entertainment suites, an outdoor pool, and an expansive terrace, making it a premier destination for both business and leisure travelers.

“We’re thrilled to have created more than 200 new full- and part-time positions at the hotel — and over 2,000 jobs during construction — while promoting economic growth through hundreds of vendor partnerships,” said Jackson-Shaw President and CEO Michele Wheeler. “With a long-standing commitment to philanthropy and corporate citizenship, Jackson-Shaw looks forward to becoming a true partner in the Las Vegas community — not just as a business, but as a contributor to the city’s ongoing growth and success.”

The hotel was developed in partnership with Compatriot Capital, with construction financing provided by Hall Structured Finance. Grand Canyon Development Partners served as the construction manager, Whiting-Turner as the general contractor and Cooper Carry as the project architect. Crescent Hotels & Resorts manages the hotel.
