JACKSON-SHAW ANNOUNCES DEVELOPMENT OF DUAL-BRANDED HOTEL IN LAS VEGAS’ SYMPHONY PARK

AC Hotel by Marriott and Element by Westin groundbreaking set for January, with the opening in late 2025

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (November 15, 2023) – Jackson-Shaw, a national real estate developer headquartered in North Texas, announces the development of the dual-branded AC Hotel by Marriott Symphony Park and Element by Westin Symphony Park in Las Vegas. The two hotels connected under one roof are located on the south side of South Grand Central Parkway and Symphony Park Avenue between the World Market Center and The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. Groundbreaking is set for January 2024, with opening in late 2025.

Together, sharing one address, the five-story development will feature a total of 441 high-quality guest rooms. At the AC Hotel by Marriott Symphony Park, 322 guest rooms feature the brand’s clean, simple and crisp lines, marrying sophisticated European style with a distinctly modern feel. The Element by Westin Symphony Park includes 119 rooms and offers the essentials of balanced travel for the longer-stay guest who does not want to compromise comfort and design. The development will feature 18,025 square feet of flexible ballroom and meeting space, and seven entertainment suites with an outdoor pool and terrace. The 261,530-square-foot building is on 2.63 acres. It is expected to provide 150 full-time and 50 part-time jobs.

The hotel is being developed in partnership with Compatriot Capital, and Hall Structured Finance is providing construction financing. Grand Canyon Development Partners is the construction manager, Whiting-Turner is the general contractor and Cooper Carry is the architect.
